While trying to take a photo of Articuno, Freddie and his partner Alolan Ninetales, Hal, quickly met in a blizzard up the mountain. Worse of all, Hal was losing temperature fast. And it didn't take long for the man to crumble. Hal meanwhile refused to let his trainer die. Climbing up to the peak of the mountain, he was given an orb to revive his trainer.
