This story is the book ending piece 'Grin, Bear It, And Ferret' that finally see's shopkeeper pet Sarah the ferret pay back her debt. When a thief has his sights set on a magic shop with the intention of stealing many of the shopkeeper's enchanted or magical items for his own profit. This leaves it to the two shopkeepers assistants- Ellah and Sarah- to prevent that from happening. Somehow.

A fun commission that sees Thomas and Jane head to the shopkeeper with some help with some possible fairy related changes. While this goes off without a hitch, Thomas finds himself more and more drawn into his new fairy body which leads to trouble for him and anyone else he happens to encounter. Jane will require some assistance if she wants to save her friend from losing himself to the allure of magic.

A man with a wish to transform is given a potion with a warning, and must resist acting too much the ferret he longs to be lest the change be permanent!
